When Life Gives You Lemons (Quotable Bits #38)

Sometimes life gives  you lemons.

And while it's easy to get lost in the moment, to bury your head in the pillows and groan I give up, it's not always the best way to handle those lemons. No, I'm not going to be cheesy and suggest that you make lemonade and move on. Instead, when you're faced with life's bitter lemons, I suggest you give yourself 5 minutes or so to wallow in your sorrow. Hang you head, feel the pain and maybe shed a tear or two.

But once that time is up, you need to suck it up, and move on with a smile on your face, because life is short, and there are many good things to come.

 

And if that doesn't work, go out and get a drastic haircut. That's what I always do.
