Quotable Bits #25

“Love only grows by sharing. You can only have more for yourself by giving it away to others.”
- Brian Tracy

They're still young, and therefore regularly consumed by the "Mine!" mentality. And while I sometimes struggle to teach them to live in a 'sharing house', that it's not alright to grab or covet their toys, I am also blessed with moments like this:

Photo: Seriously, how cute are they?

I'm sure they'll learn to share as they mature and discover the benefits that come with sharing, but for now, I'll do my best to teach them, and will soak in these moments when I can.

Now it's your turn, pick a favourite quote and come link up your quotable bits! The linky will be live all week.

  1. I always think a ball is a great example of that. Two or more people make one ball so much more fun.

  4. I loved seeing this pic on Instagram and even more now with the quote. It's so very hard some days to teach them to share... I had a beautiful moment last night, where all three of mine played together in perfect harmony!!! :)

  5. This is so sweet. Tiana should soak in the love from this photo. Maybe she'll start sharing. :)

  6. It was so hard for me to understand that when I grew up. I was always on the poor side and my logic told me different.

Now, as an adult, I am still struggling with that. Seriously.

  10. That was really cute. That's an advantage of being them being close in age. My brother and I were 7 years apart. He was younger and I wanted no part in him touching my stuff ;-).
